Engineering Specialist in Quality and Production

**We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the management and enhancement of quality systems and the optimization of manufacturing processes for advanced sensor technologies in the fields of Aerospace, Automotive, or Robotics. The ideal candidate will possess experience in an automotive or aerospace production setting focused on electronic components, along with a strong background in quality system implementation and management, including standards such as ISO9001:2015, ISO/TS16949, and AS9100.**
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management:
- Oversee the current ISO9001:2015 quality management framework to ensure compliance, including conducting internal audits.
- Facilitate the adoption of new quality standards as necessary, such as AS9100.
- Manage supplier onboarding processes, conduct quality audits, and foster development with existing suppliers.
- Manufacturing Assistance:
- Offer technical support and guidance to the manufacturing team throughout the development and production phases of sensor systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges that may arise during manufacturing.
- Support the creation of innovative manufacturing processes utilizing automated technologies, including die bonding, pick and place, and wire bonding.
- Ensure that manufacturing processes are established to achieve desired levels of consistency and repeatability.
- Oversee the inspection of incoming materials and finished products to maintain quality standards.
- Client Support:
- Provide technical assistance to clients regarding the functionality and performance of sensor systems.
- Ensure that all necessary technical documentation, design reports, and operational descriptions are accurately maintained.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis for identified issues.
- Proactively seek opportunities for enhancement in existing products and processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering is required.
- Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in the manufacturing of electronic or mechatronic components, preferably within the Automotive or Aerospace sectors, specifically related to sensor systems.
- Experience in the implementation of new quality management systems.
- Proven track record in leading lean manufacturing initiatives and process development.
- Experience in creating technical reports, prototype specifications, and other relevant documentation.
- Familiarity with die bonding and wire bonding processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
