Planning Manager Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a leading global manufacturer in North Lincolnshire, seeking a skilled Planning Manager to drive strategic growth and efficiency.

This newly created role will suit an experienced professional with a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, who can bring innovative ideas to enhance the planning function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource allocation.
  • Monitor and manage the flow of jobs through various production stages, identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements.
  • Lead departmental continuous improvement projects, focusing on cost-saving initiatives and quality enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure production plans adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in production planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical and IT skills, with the ability to create plans, collect and analyze data.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices is highly desirable.
  • People management experience and previous MRP experience (SAP desirable).
