Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll support multiple enterprise multi-tenant cloud applications distributed throughout the world in a multi-AZ AWS environment. You'll be part of a cross-functional team, responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment and testing processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Implement security measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of customer data.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Requirements

  • Professional experience as a Software Engineer and DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience working with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu preferred).
  • AWS Experience.
  • High level of understanding in cloud networking.
  • Comfortable with operating from the Linux command line interface.
  • Python (most preferred)/BASH and/or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with deployment/management tools (Jenkins, AWS SSM, Rundeck, etc).
  • Problem solving attitude.
  • Collaborative team spirit.
  • Ability to write efficient scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable with Windows DSC.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL, especially DynamoDB and/or Redis.
  • Experience with serverless architecture and containerization.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and CloudFormation.
