  • Implement Monitoring Systems: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our trading platforms.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously evaluating and integrating new tools and practices to enhance our DevOps capabilities.
  • Provide Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction for the DevOps function, aligning it with the firm's goals and objectives.
  • Report on Metrics: Report on DevOps metrics and performance to senior management, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience (7+ years) in a senior DevOps role, with a strong focus on Python, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Skills: Extensive experience overseeing large development teams and managing complex DevOps operations. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and configuration management tools. Expertise in cloud computing, specifically AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.). Solid understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and system architecture.
