Applicants must possess full GMC Registration, a valid license to practice, and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those who have received training in the UK should provide evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within six months of confirmed entry from the date of the interview. Candidates pursuing the CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) pathway may only apply for a substantive consultant position once CESR has been awarded. Non-UK applicants are required to demonstrate equivalent training.
