Role Overview

About the Role

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical First Assistant/Scrub Nurse to join our Theatre department at Oaklands Hospital. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgical teams and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons during orthopaedic procedures, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to the surgical team
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and patients

Requirements

  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
