The Stephen Longfellow Academy

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Contract: 37 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only + 5 Days

This role is crucial to our Academy's operations, with the successful candidate anticipated to deliver short-term, evidence-based interventions while adapting flexibly to address the needs and wellbeing of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized learning programmes to meet the needs of vulnerable young people
  • Work with students who have challenging behaviour
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of the Academy's pastoral care system

Requirements:

  • Rlevant level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards
  • Experience of working with students who have challenging behaviour
  • Membership to a local government pension scheme
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme
