Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Priory Hospital Burgess Hill. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our nursing team, ensuring that our service users receive high-quality care and support. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, and you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, ensuring that our service users receive high-quality care and support.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the ward, including staff supervision and performance management.
  • Ensure that our service users receive a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that our service users receive comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
  • Qualified as a Registered Nurse and experienced in mental health care.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and statutory regulations.
