Head of People and Wellbeing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our Management Team as the Head of People and Wellbeing. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Firm and driving our People Strategy.

About the Role:

As the Head of People and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for overseeing HR operations and direction, advising and supporting key stakeholders, and enhancing HR value through strategic initiatives. You will manage all HR functions, including compensation, payroll, training, employee relations, and recruitment, as well as lead firm-wide projects on job design, reorganization, and working environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our Firm's business objectives.
  • Manage employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Develop competitive compensation and benefits plans, and manage the firm's HRIS.
  • Champion and lead change initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in people processes and policies.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to ensure positive outcomes and a cohesive work environment.

Requirements:

We are looking for a dynamic HR professional with circa 10 years of experience, who is CIPD qualified and has a proven track record of developing HR strategy and leading a small team. Legal experience is a plus, but not essential. You will be a proactive and strategic thinker, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
