Quality Assurance Director
At Leonardo, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Director to lead and enhance the quality of our people, processes, safety, and customer experience for the production of our products. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving world-class quality standards and supporting business growth.
- Lead a business area quality management team and effectively plan and communicate objectives to drive quality excellence
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and manage sector-specific risks, threats, and opportunities that impact our business
- Develop and align Project Assurance Plans at both Program and Project levels to ensure quality is integrated into every aspect of our operations
- Be recognized as an expert in quality, operations, manufacturing, and leadership principles, with a strong track record of delivering results
- Demonstrate strong people management, leadership, and change management skills to foster a culture of quality excellence
- Have experience in product life cycle deliverables and design/maturity reviews, with a deep understanding of quality engineering principles
- Be an expert in influencing, negotiation, and communication at a leadership level, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Drive capability and process development within quality engineering to improve our overall quality performance
- Partner effectively with operations, project teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure quality is integrated into every aspect of our business
- Mentor and coach to foster a culture of Quality excellence, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning
- Implement root cause and corrective action culture to positively impact our business and drive quality excellence
