About the Role

Talent Gateway is seeking an exceptional Chief Operations Officer to join our team. As a strategic leader, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the efficient delivery of all support services, providing direct and indirect management of all non-clinical functions.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior colleagues to create and deliver the strategic, operational, and business development plan for the company.
  • Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong working relationships with clients and team of clinicians, identifying opportunities for new services and development of existing services.
  • Revenue Growth: Lead efforts to maximize patient activity and revenue.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with all appropriate standards and frameworks.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience with a focus on operations.
  • Scaling-Up Experience: Experience working in a scaling-up company, ideally during a period of system and process development/implementation.
  • Strategic Thinking: Hands-on, capable of strategic thinking while understanding and taking care of detailed operational matters.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a track-record of building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Financial Skills: Sound financial skills with the ability to read and interpret financial data.
  • Commercial Contract Management: Experience in commercial contract management, ideally including funders of healthcare, with experience of NHS standard contracts.
  • Change Management: Proven success in driving change to support growth, e.g., efficiency/optimization activities or implementation of new processes and/or IT systems.
  • Line Management: Line management experience, including recruitment, selection, and development of staff.
  • Healthcare Experience: At least two years' experience in a healthcare setting and in a similar role is highly advantageous.
