Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Coordinator to join our team, focusing on providing essential support to individuals with complex needs. This role is pivotal in assisting vulnerable populations, including those affected by domestic abuse, individuals with criminal backgrounds, youth, and those facing mental health challenges or substance dependency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated portfolio of properties and tenancies, delivering a comprehensive housing management service.
  • Support tenants in navigating their tenancy, including assistance with housing benefit applications and connecting them to relevant support services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of potential and current service users to evaluate their needs and risks, ensuring eligibility for services.
  • Collaborate with the Housing Management Team to issue tenancies, facilitate sign-ups, and ensure tenants understand their obligations.
  • Oversee the procurement of furniture and essential goods for properties.
  • Work closely with the Asset Management team to maintain property standards, report repairs promptly, and ensure properties are safe and suitable for occupancy.
  • Maximize rent collection and adhere to established arrears management policies.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Enhanced DBS (Adults & Children).
  • Previous experience or knowledge of social or supported housing processes is essential.
  • Ability to assist others in sustaining their tenancies and managing their finances.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
