The Role: Supervising Social Worker - Therapeutic IFA

We are currently partnering with a well-established Independent Fostering Agency in South London to help them find a dedicated and experienced Supervising Social Worker. This is a permanent position offering the flexibility of a home-based role.

About the Agency

This agency takes a therapeutic approach, utilizing a Team Parenting Model. You will collaborate closely with therapists, education leads, and other Social Workers. The focus is on providing comprehensive support to foster families and ensuring the well-being of the children in their care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and guidance to a small caseload of foster families located throughout South London.
  • Offer ongoing support and mentorship to foster carers, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to effectively care for children in their placement.
  • Collaborate with therapists, education leads, and other professionals involved in the child's care plan.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and registration with the HCPC.
