About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer to join our team at Searchability®. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing our technology strategy, leading our engineering and IT teams, and driving innovation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a forward-thinking technology strategy that aligns with our vision and goals, ensuring we remain at the forefront of fintech innovation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop our engineering and IT teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and support our growth.
  • Innovation & Growth: Identify and integrate new technologies to drive innovation and business growth, keeping us ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and QA teams to release and deploy quality cycles, ensuring all technology practices comply with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Risk Management: Oversee cybersecurity measures, data protection, and IT infrastructure to minimize risks and ensure operational continuity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a technology-related field is required.
  • Management Experience: Demonstrated experience at a management level in software engineering, preferably within the fintech sector, with a proven track record of driving significant change.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in managing and advising on complex software development lifecycles (SDLCs) and architecture, including experience with AWS, APIs, microservices, Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, and AI technologies.
  • Audit Experience: Experienced in participating in and guiding SOC 2 and/or ISO 27001 audits towards certification.
