Job Description

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a seasoned Chief Technology Officer to lead our high-growth FinTech firm in the wealth management industry.

We are a leading provider of innovative solutions for the investment sector, with a strong presence in the UK and expanding into the US market. Our team of 15 engineers is comprised of Java backend engineers, QA, DevOps, Product owner, and Data engineers.

We are looking for a technically astute individual with strong people management and project management experience to lead our engineering function. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the team, developing the engineering function, and taking a front seat with customers as a technology advocate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to drive innovation and growth
  • Develop and implement strategic technology plans to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data

Requirements:

  • Strong people management and project management experience
  • Strategic thinker with a strong track-record of management
  • Experience with AWS, APIs, Microservices, and Java
  • Experience with AI and ChatGPT is a plus
  • Experience in security audits is a plus
