Job Summary:

TSG UK Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of key equipment at petrol stations and forecourts in the North East of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install and commission new equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Diagnostic and Repair Services: Conduct daily diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment, including dispensers, tank gauges, EPOS systems, and media solutions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance customer relationships, ensuring prompt and professional service delivery.
  • Service Reporting: Produce timely and accurate service reports, detailing work completed and any issues encountered.
  • SLA Compliance: Ensure all calls are attended promptly and within set Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order at all times.
  • HSSE Compliance: Ensure compliance with set Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Technical Qualifications: Mechanical/Electrical Engineering HNC/HND (equivalent) and/or relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, including electronic repairs to PCB level and voltage testing of AC/DC single and three-phase supplies.
  • Soft Skills: Strong customer service skills, flexible approach, good communication skills, and ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Desirable Skills: Understanding of PC hardware, networking, and IT troubleshooting.
