Sales Support Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Support Manager to join our dynamic team at Team Jobs. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of field-based customer-facing Account Managers, providing administrative support, and helping to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the field-based sales team to achieve high performance levels, in line with company targets and objectives.
  • Conduct daily check-ins with Customer Account Managers, agreeing their weekly diaries and planned customer visits.
  • Assist with route planning and diary management, as needed.
  • Provide administrative support at all Head Office meetings.
  • Occasionally visit customers alongside the Customer Account Managers.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing team with administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Full, clean UK driving license.
  • Able to commute to High Wycombe easily each day.
  • Happy to travel approximately 3 times per month (all fully paid for).
  • 2+ years' experience of managing people in a Customer Service, Sales Support, or Sales/Account Management role.
  • Excellent customer service approach, with a drive to go the extra mile.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to spot opportunities and respond accordingly.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and cross-functionally.
  • An excellent team player, also capable of working independently.
