Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at Sanremo The Italian Restaurant Bath. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction by responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
- Regularly review product quality to ensure consistency and excellence in our offerings.
- Organize and monitor staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize downtime.
- Supervise shifts and ensure that all staff members are performing their duties effectively.
- Appraise staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity and job satisfaction.
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
- Manage the restaurant's image and suggest ways to improve it, enhancing our reputation and customer loyalty.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses to inform business decisions.
- Actively promote all our venues and events to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Train new and current employees on proper guest service practices to ensure consistency and excellence in our service delivery.
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations, ensuring continuity and success.
- Ensure a smooth closing of the venue, including securing the premises and preparing for the next day's operations.
- Advanced level of written and spoken English to effectively communicate with customers and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of our business.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, ensuring that you can handle challenging situations with ease.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to manage staff and operations effectively.
- Ability to work well with others, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of all applicable software to efficiently manage our operations and systems.
