Design Development Opportunity

We are a well-established soft separates womenswear supplier, working with a range of online retailers. Our small team in NW1 London is seeking a junior designer to support our designers with design development and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating technical design specifications and technical packs for overseas sample room development
  • Fitting development samples with the design team and providing feedback to the sample room
  • Designing CADs and presentation boards
  • Researching current and future trends to identify newness for quick reaction
  • Reacting to sales information and key trends to create commercially relevant designs
  • Sourcing fabric and trims from overseas
  • Organizing and pricing fabric and trim inventory
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an assistant or junior designer at a supplier or brand
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong hand drawing and CAD garment sketching skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning and organizational skills
