Job Description

Frasers Group is a leading retail success story, with unparalleled growth across the UK and Europe. We are now seeking a skilled Visual Merchandising Manager to join our team in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead weekly store walkthroughs with managers and in-store teams to plan workload and provide clear direction for the coming week(s), aligning with marketing and communications calendars and Head Office Visual Merchandising instructions.
  • Work closely with floor managers and their teams to ensure brands are merchandised commercially and in line with their correct identities, using the Visual Principles, Brand Segmentations, and Seasonal Stylefiles provided by the Head Office Visual Merchandising teams.
  • Provide timely feedback to associates, recognizing success and positively challenging poor performance.
  • Use expertise to coach and develop shop floor teams to improve their confidence and merchandising skills by owning the Visual implementation within the store.
  • Create a desire to buy by consistently delivering exceptional visual standards through the simple, commercial, and elevated merchandising of brands, windows, and shop floor displays, aligning with Head Office instructions.
  • Create seasonal hotspot/trend areas to coincide with Marketing and Visual Communications instructions.
  • Be reactive to best-selling and key products in store and provide feedback to the HO Visual Merchandising Team.
  • Hands-on in the set-up and documentation of seasonal Model Store across all departments.
  • Work closely with managers to deliver promotions and events that meet deadlines, adhere to Company guidelines, and maximize sales.
  • Maintain stocks of POS and visual equipment to ensure the store can deliver a strong visual message at all times.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Required
  • Visual Merchandising or retail experience in a managerial role.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of and lead a team.
  • Creative, imaginative, and have a flair for fashion, while being mindful of commerciality and brand identities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fearless attitude, open to new ways of working.
