Site Engineer Opportunity

Cherry Professional - Relationship Led Recruitment is working with a leading Civil Engineering and Building company to find a skilled Site Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construction Drawings: Interpret and communicate construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements, and other essential tasks.
  • Site Management: Ensure the setting and execution of projects, amending and working to RAMS, and maintaining quality assurance.
  • Labour Management: Manage labour and put men to work effectively, providing progress reports and overseeing on-site operations.
  • Materials Management: Manage materials and ensure precise lines, levels, and reference points on site.
  • Progress and Programme Management: Influence progress on sites and ensure programme deadlines are met.
  • Client and Subcontractor Management: Develop effective relationships with clients and subcontractors, working closely with the team to ensure quality, environmental, and health and safety aspects are adhered to.
  • Knowledge Development: Continuously develop knowledge in the industry, communicating and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant team members.
  • Integrated Management System: Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS), policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: A degree in Construction Engineering and Management or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
