Job Description

This consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join their Nottingham office. As a key member of the Civils Team, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career in a dynamic and ambitious environment.

With a strong track record of delivering projects across various sectors, including Residential, this consultancy offers a unique chance to work on exciting and challenging projects. As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading your own projects, working closely with clients, and contributing to the growth and development of the Civils Team.

What you need to succeed:

  • UK design consultancy experience across a range of sectors - notably Residential
  • Sound client liaison experience and being commercially aware
  • Experience with Section Agreements 278, 38, 185, and 104
  • Fully conversant in the use of software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, WinDes, or their equivalents
  • Hands-on approach, with a desire to remain engaged in design and project delivery
  • Willingness to grow a Civils team alongside the Regional Director - helping line manage/mentor colleagues
  • Good organisation, communication, and presentation skills
  • You will have 10+ years' experience in the industry and have an aspiration to start a new and exciting chapter in your career
