About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Construction Cost Controller to join our Commercial Landscaping Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and submitting Commercial Landscaping Tenders, managing projects from start to finish, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and submit Commercial Landscaping Tenders, utilizing estimating software such as Bluebeam Revu to accurately measure PDF drawings and produce Bills of Quantities.
- Manage projects from start to finish, including distributing sub-contract bid packages, obtaining prices, and assigning profit margins.
- Assist clients with technical feedback throughout the tender and award process.
- Identify areas of risk or concern within schemes and present them to the Senior Estimator.
- Attend Pre and Post Contract meetings with clients as required.
- Maintain the tender register and contact clients for updates on bid submissions.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
- Current experience in an Estimating role, preferably in Landscaping or Construction.
- CAD and/or estimating software experience, with training available for the right candidate.
- Experience in preparing and submitting tenders for Commercial Landscaping, Groundwork, or General Construction works.
- Understanding of Contracts and Project risk management.
- Good general IT skills, including MS Office.
- Organized with good time management and used to meeting tender deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Full driving licence.
