About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with a team of fraud specialists and legal support staff to investigate and litigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims. You will be responsible for running a caseload of Litigated RTA suspected fraud files on behalf of a cross-section of insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run a caseload of Litigated RTA suspected fraud files on behalf of insurance clients
  • Work closely with fraud specialists and legal support staff to investigate and litigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims
  • Ensure all litigation and opportunities are taken to shape the future of the counter-fraud arena
  • Review and analyze evidence throughout the life of the case
  • Set and agree case strategy on files with clients, ensuring adherence to any KYO or generic strategies
  • Identify strategic litigation opportunities and complex cases when appropriate
  • Handle files in accordance with agreed client guidelines on a non-delegated basis
  • Ensure maximum client satisfaction on each case
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all client and internal MI
  • Report to insurer clients throughout the lifetime of the claim
  • Liaise with all appropriate involvements on the case to carry out agreed investigations
Requirements
  • Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler or suitably qualified
  • Experience in one of the following: handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated case load, insurance litigation practice and processes, or the litigation process
  • Good advocacy skills, client care skills, and experience of time recording and billing systems
