The Role: Commercial Contracts Analyst - Energy
We're looking for an ambitious and motivated analyst to join our growing Commercial Energy team. You'll play a key role in optimizing our energy portfolio and driving positive commercial outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Forecast the profitability (P&L) of our metering base.
- Optimize our metering contracts to maximize margin capture.
- Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis for forecasting and risk management.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure efficient commercial delivery of our metering operations.
- Provide insightful analysis to senior management to support decision-making.
Who We're Looking For:
- A graduate (or equivalent) in a STEM subject with a strong analytical foundation.
- Experience in the energy industry, ideally gained through a placement year, internship, or previous role.
- Proven ability to build and utilize portfolio/risk models.
- Familiarity with data tools such as SQL, Looker, and Python is a plus.
- A highly accountable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- A collaborative team player who values open communication and knowledge sharing.
