Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced midwife to join our team as a Band 7 Delivery Suite Coordinator/Unit Leader. As a key member of our maternity team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, safe midwifery care to women and babies during childbirth.

Main Responsibilities

As a Band 7 Delivery Suite Coordinator/Unit Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of midwives to provide evidence-based, holistic care to women and babies during childbirth
  • Managing the workload of the team, including coordinating and liaising with other healthcare professionals
  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
  • Providing education and training to midwives and other healthcare professionals
  • Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
