Job Summary:

Owen Daniels Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate preparation and production of all financial reports and preparing management information for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and financial forecasts for submission, including journal posting, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L/balance sheet/cash flow preparation.
  • Supporting the development of our rolling monthly and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure timely, high-quality information delivery and clear understanding of responsibilities.
  • Managing inventory controls from valuation to movement, including Goods Receipt, WIP, Despatch, and Scrappage, and supporting quarterly and yearly Inventory Counts.
  • Preparing and reviewing project margins, interpreting data, and deducing key findings to drive business improvements and a lessons-learned process.
  • Conducting thorough financial analysis and supporting the business in inventory, provisions, labour absorption, Cost Centre Reporting, and project & cost accounting.

Requirements:

  • Holder of a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, etc)
  • Experienced in an accounting role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Competent user of Excel.
