About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Protective Security team at Allwyn UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the security and integrity of The National Lottery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret data sets using statistical tools to identify trends and patterns that could indicate suspicious activity.
  • Collaborate with the Intelligence and Investigation teams to understand types of activity that undermine the security and integrity of The National Lottery.
  • Develop and manage proactive monitoring reporting using a centralized suite of tools.
  • Analyze incidents and team activities for management reports, including data quality checks on a central incident database.
  • Create and maintain data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations using Business Objects and Power BI.
  • Assist the Protective Security collators with data input and output, as well as provision of system reports and operational intelligence briefs.
Requirements
  • High level of resilience and ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques in a retail setting.
  • Ability to provide insight and analysis through clear visual, written, and verbal communication at tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
  • Experience with centralized scripting analytical tools such as Business Objects, SAS, and SQL, as well as QLIK Sense Analytics and CREDO.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Ability to manage own workload and multiple priorities while being an active team member.
