Job Title: SEN Teacher

Location: Stockport

Daily rate: £140-£200

Cover People is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team of professionals working within our SEN School and Primary Schools. As an SEN Teacher, you will create an inclusive learning environment and teach a range of subjects to students who have Special Education Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored learning, adapting resources to the needs of the students and deliver effective teaching strategies.
  • Promote the academic and social development of SEND children.
  • Provide a safe environment and have extensive knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to support pupil progress.

Requirements:

  • QTS or ECT.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience in Special Education and knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence and ability to adapt to any situation, and confidence working with SEND children.
  • Be a passionate and empathetic educator.
  • Team Teach Training
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure on update register
