As a Residential Property Supervisor, you will play a vital role in our mission to become the UK's preferred residential property management service by:

This position reports to the regional supervisor and may involve managing a team of up to 10 direct reports, with additional indirect reports based on your assigned portfolio.

**Candidate Profile**

You should have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service, evidenced by a solid track record in the field. Experience in the property sector is advantageous but not mandatory.

You will be an effective communicator, capable of negotiating and influencing various stakeholders. Your skills in leading meetings and presenting complex updates and financial data to diverse audiences will be crucial. High standards in both verbal and written communication are expected.

A proactive problem solver, you will take initiative in addressing customer inquiries promptly and efficiently. You should be comfortable working independently across multiple environments within your portfolio.

Experience in managing challenging situations calmly and professionally is essential. You will prioritize health and safety, conducting regular inspections and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance.

Self-driven and proactive, you thrive in independent work settings while valuing collaboration with supportive colleagues during team meetings.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • As a remote supervisor, you will autonomously manage your schedule, visiting properties regularly and prioritizing those that require additional attention.
  • Organize and lead regular meetings with key stakeholders within your portfolio, fostering open communication and guiding decision-making processes.
  • Oversee and authorize all expenditures throughout the year, ensuring cash flow management to prevent funding issues while delivering value for money for clients.
  • Collaborate with the credit control team to ensure effective management of portfolio debts, including initial collection of routine service charge arrears.
  • Ensure compliance with essential health and safety regulations, acting as the 'Responsible Person' for on-site fire safety compliance.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and visits to ensure portfolio KPIs are met in alignment with our strategic framework.
  • Complete all health and safety risk assessments and follow-up actions within specified timelines, taking ownership of any enforcement actions as necessary.
  • Ensure timely execution of major and planned remedial works, managing contracts with external contractors to meet customer expectations.
  • Deliver professional and effective management of new schemes integrated into FirstPort's portfolio.
