Financial Insights Analyst

Hybrid Work Model - 2/3 Days in Office

Our client, a rapidly expanding technology firm, is on the forefront of innovation and is likely a brand you recognize if you utilize online shopping services.

This newly created position of Financial Insights Analyst is a direct result of the company's growth and will report to the UK FP&A Manager. This role is highly commercial in nature and is not focused on month-end activities.

Given the non-month-end nature of this finance position, we are seeking a seasoned analyst with exceptional Excel capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly reporting on volume, revenue, and profit, including the creation of presentation materials for weekly operational meetings.
  • Develop and sustain cost analysis for network deployment, accompanied by insightful commentary.
  • Assist the FP&A Manager in overseeing the strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, along with recurring monthly reporting.
  • Engage in business partnering across various departments to support ad hoc financial requests.

Qualifications:

  • Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with a focus on data analysis within a high-performing finance team.
  • Strong commercial insight, with the ability to convert financial data into actionable business intelligence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including SUMIF, PIVOT, INDEX, OFFSET, XLOOKUP).
  • Capable of processing extensive datasets and transforming financial information into meaningful analysis.
