We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Career Teachers. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Ensure the safety and well-being of students, facilitating access to learning activities and promoting inclusivity.
  • Education and Behaviour Plans: Contribute to the development and implementation of education and behaviour plans, working closely with teachers and other support staff.
  • Progress Monitoring: Provide regular feedback on student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Supervision: Assist with supervision outside of class, ensuring students are safe and engaged.
  • Child Protection: Uphold child protection policies, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Minimum GCSE English or Mathematics or equivalent, or Level 2 or Level 3 Support or Teaching Certifications.
  • Experience: Previous experience in teaching support, with a strong understanding of child development and learning.
