Winn Group - Winn Solicitors Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Claims Handler to join their First Response Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance or a contact centre background and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle Telephone Enquiries: Respond to client calls regarding their case, assessing the merits of their case and settling them in line with policy cover and legal liability.
- Build Positive Relationships: Establish a rapport with each client and help them manage their expectations to deliver the appropriate outcome.
- Ensure Accuracy: Maintain accuracy in all aspects of claims handling, including valuing PI claims, negotiating costs, using the MOJ Portal, adhering to CPR and legislation.
- Handle Claims Queries: Address client queries related to policy cover, claim status, policy exclusions, and excesses, ensuring complex cases are referred to a Team Leader.
- Investigate Claims: Investigate claims to ensure payments are made only where a liability is established.
- Arrange Hire Vehicles: Arrange and monitor the provision of hire vehicles to clients, negotiating to control costs while adhering to deadlines and time constraints.
- Negotiate with Third Parties: Negotiate effectively with Third Party Insurers to ensure a fair settlement is achieved for the client and the company.
The successful candidate must commit to upholding the company's core values of Integrity, Respect, Loyalty, and Reliability, ensuring these values are demonstrated throughout their working practice.
Person Specification:- Experience: 2 years of experience in a call centre environment.
- Time Management: Ability to work towards deadlines and performance objectives.
