Job Summary

H&J Martin Construction, a leading building contractor, is seeking a skilled Residential Foreman to join their team.

About the Role

As a Residential Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality residential projects from conception to completion. Your technical, supervisory, and organisational skills will ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and the implementation of effective quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of Health & Safety issues and ensure compliance by the onsite team.
  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Direct supervision of site labour, subcontract trades, and drive work to completion.
  • Quality monitoring, inspections, and non-conformance reporting.
  • Planning the day-to-day works via a lookahead programme with the Site Manager.
  • Maintaining good and accurate relevant site records.
  • Provide efficient reporting on progress to management.
  • Review of all trade RAMS in conjunction with other Team Members.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and task completion.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Foreman on a residential project.
  • Experience from a trade background with a strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to assume responsibilities in keeping with project requirements.
  • CSR/CSCS Qualification or equivalent.
  • SMSTS.
  • Qualified First Aider.
  • Full valid driving license.
