Counsellor (LGBTQ+ Service) Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to provide support to individuals in the London Borough of Merton who identify as LGBTQ+.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide up to 16 sessions to individuals over 18 who live, work, or study in the London Borough of Merton and identify as LGBTQ+
  • Work within a psychodynamic framework, utilizing knowledge of psychodynamic thinking and countertransference processes
  • Liaise with mental health services and make onward referrals as necessary
  • Manage administrative procedures and adhere to organizational policies and protocols

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, requiring 22.5 hours of work per week, including Tuesdays in the office and one evening per week.
