About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Hospital Dewsbury, providing specialist care for individuals with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care for patients with dementia.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care and support to patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • CCT (or equivalent) in Older Adult Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry with extensive older adult experience.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the development of care plans.
