About the Role

Priory Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Hospital Dewsbury. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Older Adults, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with dementia and other mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical leadership and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with dementia and other mental health conditions
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the best course of treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Hold a CCT (or equivalent) in Older Adult Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry with extensive older adult experience
  • Meet regulatory requirements, such as GMC registration and revalidation
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
