Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our Operational Taxes team at LV=.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit returns to HMRC, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and submissions of tax claims, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Interact with stakeholders across LV= (Technical, Finance, Projects) and participate in collaborative forums with HMRC.
  • Provide guidance to the Customer Experience Team and wider teams, ensuring adherence to key regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Support the delivery of outstanding service to customers, considering their individual needs and vulnerabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives and contribute to the development of operational processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with experience in operational taxation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in spreadsheet analysis and data management.
