Job Opportunity: Executive Director of Manufacturing Operations

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading metals manufacturing firm to find their next Executive Director of Manufacturing Operations.

About the Role:

The Executive Director of Manufacturing Operations will be responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and customer satisfaction. This leadership role will be instrumental in strengthening our client's position as a key supplier in the aerospace and energy industries, while ensuring top-tier quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with vision to achieve ambitious company goals and objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuously improving team culture.
  • Oversee all manufacturing operations, from production planning to quality control and supply chain management.
  • Identify and seize opportunities for business expansion and market growth in the aerospace and energy sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategies to boost market share and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring top-notch service and responsiveness.
  • Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics, driving cost-effective measures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Champion environmental sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience in metal manufacturing, ideally within the aerospace or energy sectors.
  • Strong business acumen with a proven track record in driving operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Success in strategic planning, business development, and customer relationship management.
  • Deep knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards (ISO, AS9100, NADCAP), and safety practices.
