About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate with a strong background in commercial real estate to join our expanding Transactional Real Estate team in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act for FTSE 100 clients in all aspects of commercial real estate, with a focus on investors and developers.
  • Work on a variety of real estate matters, including asset management, acquisitions and sales, leasing, and working with client teams.
  • Support a wide range of work, including acting for investors and developers in the acquisition and disposal of commercial property.
  • Manage large-scale projects, utilizing the latest legal technology and working closely with our Paralegal division and junior team members.
  • Work closely with existing clients to maintain and develop relationships, acting as a trusted advisor capable of providing timely and quality advice.
  • Collaborate with the transaction services team to execute large-scale, high-value client matters to the highest standard.
  • Supervise a trainee based in the Glasgow TRE Team.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of PQE experience in commercial real estate matters.
  • Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of real estate law.
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to find solutions to clients' legal challenges and requirements.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, with experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
  • Able to adopt a consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
  • Inquisitive and able to understand clients' drivers and what matters to them.
  • Ability to maintain efficient diary and task management across a range of matters.
  • Confident in drafting clear and legally effective documents.
  • Able to remain calm and optimistic in time-sensitive situations or under pressure.
