Corporate Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Lawyer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Corporate Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice to clients on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other business-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and negotiating share purchase and business purchase agreements
  • Drafting and negotiating investment agreements, shareholders' agreements, and other equity investment documentation
  • Contributing to and coordinating complex due diligence reviews and disclosure processes
  • Coordinating the transaction process, including arranging and conducting completions meetings
  • Providing general corporate counsel to clients on an ad hoc basis
Requirements:
  • Be a solicitor with a current practising certificate, qualified in Scots or English law
  • Have at least 2 years' relevant experience in a general corporate or corporate transactional team
  • Have ambition to develop in corporate transactional work
