Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Konecranes Demag UK Ltd. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of our customers' lifting equipment, primarily overhead gantry cranes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes.
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent in electrical engineering disciplines.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with overhead cranes and hoists.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Ability to work extra hours, including weekends, and be part of an On Call rota.
  • Current driving licence.
