Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Art & Design, inspiring and engaging students through creative and innovative teaching methods.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students develop their artistic skills and creativity.
  • Student Support: Provide academic support and guidance to students as needed, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
  • Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject area and educational best practices, participating in departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
Requirements
  • A degree in Art & Design or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) is desirable.
  • Experience in teaching Art & Design at various levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours as required.
