Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Support Specialist to join our team at Macildowie Recruitment and Retention. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance team with various tasks, including financial statement preparation, bank account reconciliations, and data entry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Bank Account Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and supplier statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Financial Data Entry: Process invoices, payments, and expense claims, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Support to Finance Team: Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
  • Query Handling: Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an accounts or finance role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Numerical and Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and other financial software applications.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing support and assistance as required.
