Job Summary

The Head of Material Planning will contribute to the production volume achievement, growth, and profitability of the plant by procuring products of required quality, quantity, and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure supply chain and value streams resources are managed through continuous improvement by maintaining the highest level of internal customer satisfaction.
  • Design a capable supply chain to meet current and future build readiness.
  • Review supplier performance for identified parts.
  • Carry out a structured review of the Material planning function with required KPIs and implement improvement actions.
  • Ensure procurement costs are contained.
  • Deployment and delegation of targets to team members.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Encourage and support team members to drive and achieve results through coaching and mentoring.
