About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Smyths Toys in Aylesbury. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and cash handling
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase customer engagement
- Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize store performance
- Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and improve store operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Duty Manager or similar role in a retail environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed business decisions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
