Route Facilities Manager

To provide day-to-day facilities and soft services management for all Route accommodation, supporting the Route Property & Facilities Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of the total facilities management contract, maintaining and enhancing the facilities services strategy for workplace locations nationally.
- Work with colleagues to maintain and enhance the total facilities management contract, focusing on end-user customer experience and financial performance.
- Oversee the management of the maintenance of workplace environment and facilities, ensuring compliance with corporate and statutory health and safety policies, Diversity and Inclusion strategies, regulations, and procedures.
- Advise on expenditure related to maintenance and renewal of the workplace environment and facilities, ensuring alignment with budget provision and the agreed strategy for the estate.
- Develop and maintain relationships across the wider business, sharing knowledge and best practice with strategic sourcing teams and developing relationships at a senior level with customers to aid management of the facilities management contractor.
- Maintain and update full database information for each building on existing and anticipated issues, including proposals, projected costs, and income, and business cases as appropriate.
- Assess and recommend repairs, renewals, and improvement works, considering costs and values, and lease obligations to optimize portfolios.
- Holder of NEBOSH or relevant health and safety qualifications.
- Proven experience in facilities management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- British Institute of Facilities Management member.
- Proven contract management skills.
- Proven experience of managing complex budgets.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Knowledge of policies and standards relating to office accommodation.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Full driving license.
