About the Role

We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Integrated Community Mental Health Teams in Leeds. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regular clinical reviews and advice to primary care teams
  • Participate in hub meetings, core team meetings, and daily huddles to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, including medical students and junior doctors
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
Requirements
  • MBChB and MRCPsych qualifications, with CCT or CESR in general adult psychiatry
  • Significant experience in general adult psychiatry, with a strong track record of leadership and clinical expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
