About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our West CMHT team in Leeds. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing referrals for individuals with mood and psychotic disorders, trauma-based presentations, and personality disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage referrals for individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Represent the Trust at Mental Health Act (CTOs) tribunal hearings
  • Liaise with colleagues to facilitate transitions, planning care, and discharge
Person Specification
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT/CESR
  • Member of RCPsych
  • Broad experience of WAA psychiatry
