Join Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal as a Deputy Ward Manager and play a key role in providing senior nursing leadership to our CAMHS Low Secure Unit. About the RoleThe Deputy Ward Manager will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Ward Manager in providing management and supervision of a team of registered and unregistered staff.
- Implementing best practice across the ward.
- Supporting changes within the service.
- Responsible for the clinical direction of the service.
- Supporting the delivery of personalised care and contributing to service improvement.
- Supporting and contributing to MDT practice.
- Implementation and evaluation of therapeutic interventions within an overall care programme.
- Assisting the ward manager in ensuring that care and treatment is provided to meet the standards set by regulators.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality care to young people. The ideal candidate will have:
- Active Registration with the NMC, meeting the requirements of Revalidation.
- Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable.
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued professional development and leadership.
- Highly developed communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Experience in Mental Health or Learning Disability services.
- At least 3 years, or equivalent experience post-registration.
